Is it strange that new parents tend to blog about their babies more than anything else?

At 5 months, she probably won't remember too much about her first Christmas, but we did take our obligatory family photo in front of the tree to send to everyone in our Christmas cross-match review log card distribution (wow, sounds so formal that it doesn't sound like the holidays anymore). Anyway, this is our first year sending out a photo, so it could be the start of something that everyone else seems to do.

She got her toys and such, and then we whisked her off for her first plane trip to Houston to see the in-laws (on both sides). What a blast!
